Omega Strikers FM - Saboteurs and Dissenter Win

Your completely wrong about that
Somewhat

Im confident in some reads and others I need to let stew for a while.

That one?

Here you go.

I do not actually think you read my other posts. I talked about your posts and why they didnā€™t have merit, yet you completely ignored them and even made a comment later on about how ā€œAtlas made me realize my points still had meritā€.

Thatā€™s a play style quirk of mine. It helps me sort out my own thoughts by writing about them.

You seem to be ignoring the context of everything tbat has happened, and you are ignoring why I laid down my vote. I explained previously that I was town reading the majority of the people that were in the thread up until that point. I also think itā€™s unfair to characterize me as active lurking, when that was because I was in class.

With regards to the setup, Iā€™m not sure if we are allowed to link previous times this has been run, but a majority of scum wins came from organizing actions in a way that allows scum to control them. Scum gets into a good position early on ā†’ they start to coordinate actions ā†’ scum win. The thing that we should only coordinate on is how long the time lasts. Actions such as who sheriff should check, who the vig should kill, should be left up to their respective role.

Iā€™m fine having Atlas/Julliets/Drakā€™ar/Luna as town right now. I had problems with regards to reading Atlas earlier on (which I talked about already), but they have become more villagery as the game progressed. If we keep missing Iā€™ll go and reevaluate these people but for D1 Iā€™m fine with this group of people.

VOTE: Rune

I have work til early evening EST, largely AFK til then

I have work till 1, so pretty much same

I didnā€™t ignore them. They simply didnā€™t change my opinion.

I suppose I canā€™t prove that I didnā€™t ignore themā€¦ You either take my word for it or not.

Can you explain why? Your point about me implying that atlas was town is wrong because that thought does not assume that heā€™s town, it was a knee jerk reaction thought to him talking about how calling Drakā€™ar masons not an organized way to play. Trying to prevent Atlas from being town read tbere doesnā€™t really make sense as opposed to me simply stating my thoughts that I had while reading the thread in class - tbere are much more effective ways to do that, such as making a post that is focused exclusively around Atlas.

In fact, I avoided giving an exact read because I pegged Atkas as a person who would be more easily readable by watching what they do in the thread. I also pegged that Drakā€™ar would be more easily readable by watching how they continue to play, and I concluded that they were town based off how they didnā€™t continue to tunnel Luna.

Iā€™m confused on how you thought your case actually had merit in the first place. It wasnā€™t really strong to begin with, and I thought you realized this when I pointed out part of your case being flawed as you stopped voting me.

Itā€™s called being fashionably late.

I have 9 on-topic posts, what do you mean, not enough content?

Iā€™m on break now so Iā€™m going to go delve into why I think Julliet is town, mainly for my sake because I wrote that Julietā€™s was town, but I didnā€™t really think much of it - I thought they were town without really thinking about why, which is what I need to figure out now as to why I thought they were town.

I believe the reason I thought they were town is because of how they have acted in the thread so far, and how the thread has acted around them. When I read their posts I donā€™t really feel any agenda in them, I see a sense of curiosity in their posts that is indicative of them not having too much information. Feels like they are trying to understand other people instead of trying to 1-up them or dunk on them.

When I write this out, it doesnā€™t feel like a lot, but I like the reasoning as for why I believe that I think they are town. Something to note for others is that I lean a direction on a player before I actually think about why I believe that - I then proceed to think about why I believe that, and ask myself whether or not I am believing it for a good reason. I am reasonably confident based around how they are acting that they are just a competitor.

You voted! And it was your most solvy postsā€¦ Until you walked it back immediately.

But regardless of conviction, what about Estelleā€™s post made you change their mind? Their reply seemed to have very little to do with what you were voting them for.
