Hello. I am Rune.
I will also re-iterate that Ai.Mi is my other major suspicion. I believe their odd position and then dipping in and out is not entirely motivated by a belief in the league.
To clarify, it is implicitly assumed that I was accusing them of having too much information because of how easily they gave a read on Atlas. I did not change the goal posts, maybe I didnāt explain myself clearly, but I believed
- Atlas hasnāt said anything up to that point to warrant a town read. I stated in my own post that Atlasās posts felt as though they were easier to make because they are roleplaying.
- Their read sounds āgoodā but wasnāt actually good.
- Scum are more likely to make early reads on people using their TMI in order to strengthen their position in the thread early on. Giving a take like that with the context of this thread actually enforces this belief.
I am confident in my ability to find mafia and town by watching how people react to my pushes. Era mentioned earlier that I sounded like I was hyping myself up on purpose, when the reason I was started to get into this game was because of me starting to push this player.
To answer your question as to whether or not I put much stock into early reads being scum, Iām not convinced they are scum or not. I will figure out whether they are later on.
I was explicitly waiting to see if anyone else poked the note Era made about their treatment of me in the statement about organising.
Era poking it is part of the process used to reverse my initial suspicion on them.
I figured after both of you had pointed it out hiding my notation was irrelevant and ego-driven.
Iām not sure how anyone has an actual read on Alm
I like a core of you, me, Atlas, and slightly Luna below.
Seems decent to me so far.
I ought to nip this in the bud. I asked if you were being serious because I did not understand your line of attack. I donāt view someone just vibing as particularly compelling as a reason to suspect them when itās the first page of a new game, and itās not something I would pursue. I was looking for you to either further explain your reasoning, or not, in which case Iād assume itās a push vote.
I see youāve now dropped this, so Iām not interested in this line of thought anymore.
Ai.Mi?
This is going to be an exciting league; I can already tell.
Not necessarily. In my mind, I thought that them roleplaying made it easier for them to act out the part of an actual competitor - focuses the mind to get into the zone, so to speak. How my actual read on them will develop in the future is yet to be seen. Iām not going to comment on them for now and will watch how they proceed to play the game.
I am not sure how anyone who reads this could understand that as thinking they are town.
Era only said two things of interest atlas, was there something I was missing?
Also, did we drop the rp thing yet? It was seriously throwing me off
If reads based on limited data are not allowed then games would have a lot of trouble starting in the first phase and leagues would stall until saboteurs attacked.
I obviously dislike waiting for nefarious people to drive things and will risk making reads early to force people to consider the game state.
What reads do you have on anyone as of this moment?
Juliette seems to be an interesting pick given the scant quantity of content provided from her at the time of this posting.
Elaborate
What do you make of Era and Atlasās read on X? Do you agree or disagree with them?
I hope your performance continues to be as exhilarating as it was previously, Drekāar
(Iām moderately confident I have done 90% of the RPing in this thread. Was my RPing really throwing you off that hard?)
I sense the sarcasm here.
It wasnāt sarcasm
He got pumped up and then fell down
Please forgive me if you read it as sarcasm
Eraās read where they said my post was tonally towny?
Seemed like a typical early game snapread, felt good at the time but not hard to do as a wolf ā Iām always wary of potential pockets. That said I am finding them towny as I read more of their posts
It feels like he is putting on an act. The way he posting is most certainly NOT the way that dear Atlas converses on downtime outside of the league.
I am quite confident in this because he is obviously roleplaying, so it is most certainly an act. Acts can make it more difficult to decipher the true thoughts and intentions of the actor - although upon further thought - acts are NAI at worst.
