Well, yeah, the fact that the kill was blocked made that clear to me (even if I turned out to be wrong on that reasoning), but Furtive wouldn’t even let me do the little bit of town theater one does like “ohhh, I dunno if Brad is scum, why don’t we have him show up and convince me”.
