i was considering writing an article on how to respond to pressure after this game but figured that would be dumb because i’m not used to being pushed as town so idk whether i can say i’d personally respond well and also the fact that most bad responses to pressure are an emotional one rather than a rational one

the actual problem is that burning down the threadstate with ATE makes it less likely for you to be voted out, so even if you say, like, ‘don’t ATE, it’s toxic and bad and hurts the threadstate,’ it still selfishly-benefits individual people who do it
probably if people just policied ATE there would be less of it but also I don’t want to policy people I think are villagers
