i don’t think people need to necessarily policy ATE but i feel like stopping reading into it is a good way to start in cutting down its prevalence on the basis of “ATE’ing will help me to not die”

well people mostly aren’t going to do that because it is in fact often alignment-indicative (which is its own problem, semi-trusttelling with ATE is also bad)

because wind was trying to kill hippo and hippo wanted to discredit her (quite literally saying that he thinks she should have no say in who dies today, which was coincidentally himself)

a huge part of the problem honestly is the extent to which some people are like ‘ATE as town is fine/only a little bad, ATE as mafia is terrible and awful and I never want to play with you again!!’
if some amount of ATE would be unacceptable as mafia then it should also be just as unacceptable as town
