where is the list
Players?
okie - lmk when you do find it cuz i actually would like to chat about that
i think ash/marluna have a lot of partner equity because theyâve been dancing around eachother
possible i missed something tbh
This makes me want to flip Ash and Hazard back-to-back
yeah ick
i am like really really averse to the reasoning that we have to kill someone âso they wonât get tunneled onâ or to âresolve the wagonsâ
i had a whole rant on it in a game, gimme a few to read up here
i usually am too yeah - itâs incredibly lame
itâs just that in my experience every time iâm in this sort of situation on FoL it always ends up in a town loss if we let the person go
i donât know that these are whelmingly towny posts, but i donât hate them - if i look at them and ask myself, could a townie write this the answer is yes, last one in particular feels like a real thought hinestly
what i do hate is when the gamestate gets stuck around certain players and revolves only around discussing them, because in my experience that is a very pro-scum environment
. . we go and vote out Ash, he flips town, then what next? Do people just go after Hazard because shucks, if the first two Day 1 wagons were wrong, surely the 3rd has to be right? I hate that type of thing. It lets people stay out of the spotlight.
I donât like eaves saying we should resolve Ash, I donât like whatever Marluna is doing with their vote on Hazard because that defense of Ash is so weaksauce and the reasoning for voting Hazard stinks
thatâs
i donât know people need to play better then
i donât know how to make them though
ok the dot eg
honestly what if we did this

Iâm going to explain something I believe in terms of theory of how this game is played. Thereâs this thing, called the Narrative. It decides who the leaders are and who the suspects or âPOEâ are. While itâs not always consensus, it represents the feelings as expressed by a multitude of players in the game.
The about the Narrative is that it has a tendency to stick. When a personâs name gets brought up as suspect in the early game, people tend to keep bringing it up. It has a way of sticking in peopleâs heads. Oftentimes itâs advanced by scum, because thereâs a big juicy piece of meat in front of them that they donât want to let slip away. And so that personâs name gets brought up again and again, and discussions are had about how itâs necessary to resolve them. How we have to clear the POE. Theyâre always going to be suspected so we have to do this.
And I believe that this is fundamentally bad play and pro-scum. Iâve seen it happen here, on MS, everyhwere. The Narrative is why towns lose games. It kills for two reasons: First of all, it creates an inability to clear or write off a player ever. No matter what a player does, The Narrative says they have to die in order to figure out whatâs going on. It removes the ability of a townie to clear themselves and treats everythnng they say as fundamentally disposable. Second, it creates a screen behind which scum can hide. If theyâre not part of the Narrative, scum can keep pushing people, telling them we need to resolve X Y and Z, and because people are so tunnelvisioned they ignore other players i the game. They leave blind spots. If youâre only talking about players who are part of the Narrative, youâre ignoring a chunk of the game, and all too often that is where the scum are.
Enough with the narrative. Broaden your horizons. Iâm not going to tell you you have to townread Ash. But if your posts are primarily discussing Ash and how you think we need to resolve her, Iâm going to assume youâre pushing Narrative. I want to hear other players discussed because it is harder for scum to produce a multitude of perspectives of then game and if the town actually investigates everyone and weighs their chances of being scum, our chances of winning the game are better.
thatâs a rant i had from another game edited to replace the name of another player with Ash
i was right, the player i was defending was town
town didnât listen and killed them anyway, we lost (in part due to my own horrendous tunnels but thatâs another story entirely)
what i am getting at at any rate is that resolving wagons is fucking stupid
