The mod very easily could ahve reminded them via discord, i’ve seen this happen in other games on this site
vulgard please say sike right now
Kanave consistently wolfreads Nokiel all the time. Aaaaaallllll the time. But at EoD2 she literally self-votes instead of voting there and only revotes when it’s impossible for anyone to switch. And at EoD3 when Nokiel could’ve died again she instead switches to Eliza on this reasoning:
You are the top Nokiel wolfreading and you want to switch based on the day being static? Nokiel is top wagon, you should be happy…
no, i found Eliza more scummy individually, i literally made a read list.
Then she says if Eliza flips scum we should go into me (V) and Nokiel, but only if Eliza flips scum …
yes beacuse the world i brought up was you and Eliza, of course you’re top priority if that flips scum
Then suggests Nokiel/Vulgard as a viable world… just in case Nokiel does go over? To get me killed the next day? (I’m sitting on Kanave here)
I was asking this bc at the time that was my only possible world left where Eliza flipped town
Then votes Eliza and says Kanave/Nokiel loses the game. No, it does not, you’ve been thinking Nokiel is mafia, you just kill Nokiel and point to the fact you pushed them.
Yes, we do re-eval the town, but this post makes it seem like Nokiel/Kanave is inherently a bad PoE… when Nokiel is someone Kanave herself has floated as a wolf numerous times. It just feels manipulative.
its mylo executing me ever loses the game
this entire post misinterprets everything i’ve said there so poorly i genuinely struggle to see this coming from a town
Nokiel/May world potential
Nokiel on May
Hey, no need to beat yourself up about performance. You’ve noticed now, and now you can take a step towards that goal.
May - Town. Very solvy and has been pushing a lot when on. The pressure to solve and be a good townie seems genuine.
Ah, I barely answered Q2. I do think wolves would likely be on Aelin, but it feels incongruous with my thoughts on the voters. I think May is town, I think my suspicion on Vul isn’t valid, I think you have seemed towny and Eliza is someone I feel like I’ve focused on more out of not understanding how they play than something concrete
Although, I just checked May’s ISO. It seems like they’re pushing to solve, but the attitude of falling into pitfalls could also be used to cover a wolf agenda where May makes a case on a player and just vanishes. May has also been on both ml wagons. (Actually, so have I…) might be a moot point in the end.
Conclusion to the last paragraph. May is negotiable, but not in my scum list yet.
I mean, I get the suspicion on louder players, but I’m not sure I find anything that I can argue in posts. I find your frustration over an unfocused town to be something that seems strange for a wolf to come up with. Others seem like I can nitpick, like May’s laxness to expectations and happening to ml twice. Vul I literally can’t remember why I find off, Imma have to find that again.
If I just lash out at high-posters as expected I feel like I’ll just get run over by more experienced players, especially considering the position I am in now.
I also do agree with May’s analysis of Eliza’s interactions with Vul, I had not really noticed how they interacted with one another before, specifically them constantly showing suspicion of each other, but not doing anything with it.
Silly, I like it. A lot of pressure to solve (which is fakable I guess). Reused strategy, (which Vul pressed them on (But I can’t recall Vul ever voting May)) Misreads, not sure if this is useful. I had the suicidal EoD because May wanted to narrow the possible worlds with my exe, I feel like that would be very scary for a wolf to do if they were aware of how many fewer worlds there would be.
May on Nokiel
Arctic
Lemon & Vulgard
Nokiel & Whisper
Jar & Kanave
beancat & Eliza
Aelin
Nokiel all of my reads just slide off of and I think that’s evidence of newbie wolf behavior. However I can’t find any particular partnerships from her end and I’d like to hear what her voters think the follow-up is on her wolf flip.
Fuck I thought the two votes were on Nokiel for some reason. I’ll unvote for now yea
UNVOTE
This is the first public evidence of something I have been unconsciously doing all game: confusing K anave and No k iel. Because of the shared letter. It’s the sharpest letter in both names so it draws my attention
Yeah, but I think that Vulgard is the most likely to be paired with someone outside Nokiel/Kanave, which is what I’m saying. I don’t think Lemon and Vulgard are W/W (or maybe I just hope they’re not), and I think you’re town.
I agree w/ this - I don’t entirely discount the possibility that Lemon is a wolf, but I think she’d only potentially be with Nokiel, and I think we can cross that bridge when it comes. For now, I don’t think killing Kanave gives us a winning PoE unless we’re certain she’s a wolf, and I’m not.
VOTE: Nokiel
I can’t… really think of a world where it’s not Nokiel, at this rate. I don’t know who her partner is, and we really don’t have the executions to figure it out, but… we may as well at least try for one wolf, I suppose.
I’ll wait to see Nokiel’s case before I place a vote, but… not sure I’m gonna change my mind on this one.
It’s between Kanave/Lemon/Nokiel/Vulgard. That means the potential wolfteams are as follows
Kanave/Nokiel - In this case, the wolves are intentionally allowing high-posters to tear each other apart and killing the lower-posting players. For a little while, I thought this was unlikely, given Kanave helped vote off Eliza, whose flip would direct a lot of people toward voting Nokiel… but I, uh, just remembered who Eliza was a counterwagon to. I’m not sure I’ve seen anything that proves this, and I’m not sure I’ve seen anything that really dis proves it. I wish we’d executed Nokiel yesterday.
Lemon/Nokiel - This would explain why Lemon went so hard for Kanave on D2 and then Eliza D3 - trying to avoid a Nokiel vote. The way they’ve both left thread to its own devices would make sense for wolves, I think - as soon as we moved away from Nokiel, she kinda disappears, and Lemon doesn’t show up until later. It’d make sense with Nokiel’s Vulgard/Lemon case, too.
my brain’s probably not working very well at this hour
I’d say maybe this could be w/w?
going to leave May/Vul for tomorrow
if you had read today’s posts you would know the answer to this
shut up
I’m going to sleep
Nokiel (1): Vulgard
Not Voting (5): Arctic, Kanave, Lemonfairy, May, Nokiel
Majority is 4. Day ends 2022-12-05T04:00:00Z
Alright, I’ve done enough work for today.
It looks like this game just… comes down to a straight shot of determining which sum of scumteams is more likely. Four players, two wolves. There’s no shortcuts here. This sucks I want to take shortcuts
Lemon/Kanave is the only pairing I feel like I can properly discount. Everything else… I see evidence everywhere. In trying to be open to new ideas, I have realized that I can hold so much in my head in parallel if I don’t try to narrow things down. I try too hard to process everything way too much, and tunnel vision is essential to ensuring I’m not constantly overwhelmed by all the information in the world.
I think this is why I’m bad at Splatoon.
I think this is just a description of autism. I think I’m just observing the fact that I’m autistic again. Goddamnit it always loops around to this doesn’t it
btw is it not mechanically optimal to “sleep” here by executing Arctic? We wake up into f5 with another player poisoned, and in the event that arctic was a fake poison we catch them that way. I’d say just actually sleep but it doesn’t seem like we’;re allowed to, is there any reason not to exe arctic today?
Self-voting is not valid. You may choose not to use your vote, but voting for no-elim is not allowed.
voting arctic is basically a sleep vote since we ont lose the game when we wake right?
except you do because wolves are guaranteed to have parity unless we kill one today
we’re at 6, we lose 1 we wake up with 5, 3>2
or does the poisoned player already count as dead for parity
we wake up with 3v2 and a poisoned player
even if you execute scum the day ends with 2v1 and then wolves…
okay so actually no that works if you kill exactly the goon but if you kill the poisoner then wolves win because they can get parity overnight
so no we are not killing me and then gambling on killing exactly the goon thank you
oh i though the poison was factional my bad
i think you are a wolf, that should be concern enough for you if you are town.
Who do you think she’s with?
My main hold-up with her being a wolf is that she would probably have to be with exactly May? I haven’t looked into that yet. And if she’s a wolf with exactly May then idk why she did what she did during yesterday’s EoD, those were freebie villager kills and she shook things up + defended free MLs for no reason.
