wait i want to be a part of the discussion i’m up
you mean this comment?
You see, If you consider macro game scale, first thought of mine is that they are most likely both town?
I mean, having 2 leaders who fight each other is a sweet situation for mafia.
And it happened with 2hydra being still stuck on Frog.
Now… I promised to step up myself on double poison day.
And I do believe it’s necessary, considering how the day started - with poisoned people bit of fighting each other, instead of cooperating.
Instead of conflicted poisoned leaders candidates, a 3rd option, who was staying away from all conflict on day 1. Who, even if also an ego player, produces enough effects for it to be wildly known, steps up.
Would you consdier joining them?
Yes, I’m stepping up and recruiting people to cooperate with today. Even if I believe other 2 leaders are town, I also believe they are too stuck in theirs own world.
I mean what started bit before, and what comes after I pinged you.
Actually just everything after the ping.
I’m
very confused rn
you talking about the mechanic discussion?
Beancat idk
I think I liked one or two of her posts but I can’t actually remember anything notable I want to comment on which is weird. Big fat nullread here and I want to see more.
Actively Null is probably how’d I’d describe my read here - deffo needs to flip before endgame
Lol is in the unique position where I think his takes are pretty specific and pretty wrong but his attitude of giving them seems kind of towny? Or at least not wolfy. But I’m not sure how much he believes in them.
This kinda sums up where I am with lol as well, but I tend to think it’s a town indicator. I’m usually cool with pretending not to have much of a read on players like this because I’m kinda fine trying to solve games after they’re flipped, but I do think that kind of attitude comes from town more often than scum. Maybe it’s just close to rand. Idk. Sometimes I have these strong feelings like lol doesn’t ~fit~ as scum.

are you talking about yourself
Going to get a bit more rest now as well as do some RL stuff so talk to everyone more later.
Oops. Forgot this:
I’m
very confused rn
you talking about the mechanic discussion?
Yes.
Mostly I’m thinking about trying to create the counter-offer to conflicted Frog-Kiiruma. Becouse they are not going to reach any consensus at this rate.
And a counter-offer you will like, becouse it starts with “I want to take down Windward” and I need people to join into the faction.
And paradoxally I need more people who disagree with me, so we can have constructive discussion on the topic.
Cause opposite to what Kiiruma and Frog are showing up, I want to refrain from blind tunneling.
Yup. More typical of his town game than his wolf game.
appreciate the reality check
don’t appreciate u callin me a wolf how mean
are you talking about yourself
Yep.
Didn’t I say I’m going to get hold of the steering wheel if 2 poisons happen?
The thing with the mechanics discussion is that there’s nothing to base it off, there’s optimal ways to play this setup and then there’s ways in which people would play the setup. Scum have no reason to use the fake poison D2 and I stand by that, it’s left optimal for certain scenarios not wasted on some D2 thing where it’s going to completely irrelevant, better yet it shouldn’t be wasted on 2W1H or on Frog
Oh, a lot.
This game is 12v4.
If we compare it to closest mountainous 15er - 12 v 3, we get one more scum, why?Exactly becouse poison is supposed to clear one person, who is supposed to “rally” the people together, and give them better chance at hitting scum, instead of spreading around on X different wagons.
So, first thing to notice is that setup itself is built around operating with confirmed townie, not ignoring them.
Sure, you can talk with them, try to refine theirs reads.
You know, play classic vassal or instigator. However, fighting confirmed townie over town lead and not following them is stupid. Especially since game is designed with keeping that part in mind.
Correct?
Ah okay, so Eevee is on the same lines that I’m on, that’s good to see at least.
The thing with this though is that despite there being a confirmed Townie inbetween those bunch that is going to die, I don’t get why they do it D2 unless that confirmed Townie has reads that they don’t want to be pushed while they are alive so they confused it by fake poisoning a player, that’s the only thing I realistically see happening at the moment and the only real reason I see on why Mafia waste 1/2 of their fake poison uses
sure go off
i do think frog is an easy mafia though
Cause opposite to what Kiiruma and Frog are showing up, I want to refrain from blind tunneling.
Change it to “useless blind tunnelling” and you have what it actually is.
And he can also be easy town who is poisoned at the moment.
We can easily just wait, it’s D2 so we have no reason to instantly act between Frog and 2W1H
nah im good at these reads if he’s town he’s not the poisoned one
no one was going to vote out wolves
Then think about it this way if you want to believe that
If he’s Town, why did Scum fakepoison him?
If he’s Scum, why did Scum fakepoison him?
