if so my answer is me im the pizza topping i would be
although i suppose my purpose and meaning as a pizza topping is different than my personality

Cheese is a topping because there are some pizzas without it, sure. You’re only a topping if you consider yourself food.

I don’t necessarily agree with this in all cases, by the way. Self-appraisal has its flaws, not the least of which is the fact that you’re having a different person report every time, but I think people have more insight on their own skill and character than they give themselves credit for, especially when you get into specifics. “These are the areas of this skill where I’m strong, these are the areas I need to improve in, these are my goals”… you can’t tell that about somebody from a quick glance, you have to be familiar with them.

There are biases you have to work around, but seeing your perception of yourself as somehow… not qualified, inherently less accurate than even a stranger’s… that’s not true either. Both internal and external perceptions are valuable in conceiving of yourself. You need a healthy mix. However I’m still obsessed with what people think of me because of my character flaws

thats not a character flaw
its a natural human reaction to want peoples information and knowledge of how they think you are

thus you failed your self appraisal

Honestly, I mostly just think “because of my character flaws” is a funny phrase to say. Wanting your friends to tell you what pizza topping you are is fine and natural, and this isn’t an instance of said character flaws. Like I said, you want a mix of both others’ perceptions and your own.

There are… more unhealthy patterns of thought along those lines, though, that I know I’m susceptible to falling into. I generally keep them to myself, though, because I’m aware they’re unproductive, so they’re not something others would see in their appraisal of me unless they’re very observant. Another point for self-appraisal (in moderation).

i post cheese things without thinking about it magnus
if i point it out theyll never just go “haha mousegirl” its too easy
