Play at your own risk [?KRC]: Game Over - Town Victory

You said what Hazard was saying first and I knew that I had to agree with your case because it’s what I thought you would expect from me as a villager. I didn’t push for Gar’s death the entire rest of the day, I tried shifting focus onto Zenon because I knew town was going to think Aro slipped her Town.

So here was because I absolutely knew CRichard’s D2 was in his town meta, and that CRichard and Leafia knew that I knew that. I said Gorta was town because I RT’d him in neighbourhoods, and Min was the weakest of the three that just came with talking me privately.

I am usually wrong in my townreads, to be fair.

They may not have been good or specific plans, but I spent a very large amount of time, arguably far too much time, in that game sitting in wolfchat trying to figure out what to do after I died.

You can probably tell by coven chat, but I wasn’t really scared of your slot in the same way you were scared of mine.

Yeah, that’s fair. I’m just thinking about how you, like… I commented on this at the time because it stood out to me as odd, you criticised half my case and then treated it as very solid despite that; you generally respect my cases, but as town, you’re usually a little bit more skeptical. I think you were subconsciously influenced by your TMI there, as we all are. Villagers are paranoid, and you can leverage mimicking that paranoia in order to disrupt town consensus from forming. You were a little bit more secure in your townreads.

Anyway, I’ll tell you what my trick for being townread early as scum is if you can agree not to hold me to high standards anymore if I get tired in a game.

I went out of my way to criticise half your case so it didn’t look like I was taking a strong position as to whether Gar were evil or not. It was an informed choice.

I usually get townread early as scum anyway, when I’m not being tortured, at least, but I also know what it’s like to be held to high standards, and it sucks. I probably would take the deal regardless of reward. But it’s a good bonus. I need to improve my wolfgame.

Yeah, fair. It still just seemed like you respected its foundation in a way that made it hold more weight in my mind; your reaction to the case was no small part of what was making me believe it was founded in reality, honestly. But maybe I’m just imagining my case as weaker than it was because of my own perspective. I tend to do that. If it was genuinely a good case, someone would’ve made me feel like it was so, and so you doing that wasn’t a problem. Not much more to it to dwell on.

i just wanna be in a scum team for once

D1 I write a long scumcase on a top poster that isn’t acting in character and I townread half the group while half interacting with my teammates (the important thing is to say their names so it comes up in the search bar) so that nobody can look at my ISO and point out how little I do it, keeping active the entire time and interacting heavily with good players so I seem majorly involved instead of seeming distant.

I’m saying it because D1 effort doesn’t have to be AI for me, but I generally don’t like having to be super active as either alignment with really long cases on everyone, so I’d prefer if people didn’t expect Tales of the Abyss- levels of detail from me in the future.

Noted!

Not here, though. I’ve done very well for myself to establish a precedent of clownery here. Very hard work I’ve done making balls jokes to ensure things are easy for myself. They were super strategic, trust me.

This game I had entire days of busywork out of the thread. I’m not scared to be in the thread as evil, and I’d rather if people acknowledged this so my times of inactivity aren’t frowned upon.
(You could technically argue it’s actually town indicative but that’s not fun.)
