meh, i’m overthinking this. ash could just not be thinking at all and voted whichever wagon offered a chance to save him. whether squirrel was a wolf or not would only factor into the equation if squirrel was a strong wolf pr (of which there are very few in this setup).

Considering I think Arctic voted Squirrel before Ash, if there’s a chance Ash didn’t know the VC (which I think there is because I don’t think anyone really had a clue who was ahead) then Ash wouldn’t vote his illusionist partner out over himself

I do think if Ash is illusionist he could still self-pres onto a mafia goon however

so ash, like i argued earlier that he should’ve done as w, did vote the more likely wagon to go over (crich) despite him being a “townread” just because it was more likely to go over, meaning squirrel’s wolf equity rises.
