Alright, I’m going from the perspective that the scumteam is exactly Crich/Ranta/Vulgard. Is this a good way to read people? I have no fucking idea. Will it help in the end bc if im wrong my reasons are probably wrong? Oh most likely not. Am I going to do it anyway? Hell yes.

My first and strongest scumread is Crichard. The way he’s been treating the top two wagons is extremely weird and his votes make little to no sense anymore. At first it just seemed like he was looking for any reason to scumread someone and discredit people which I thought was bad but from how I was looking at it could come from a townsperson. However, just from how I remember their plays none of their posts sit right with me and after everybody conesusly decided Crichard wasn’t scum, he’s just ben coasting with extremely weird votes and reads that come right after someone else gives their reasoning. He’s just been sheeping a lot and not really making a ton of reads of his own, basing his votes and reads off anything anyone says.

My next and second strongest scumread is Ranta. From what I understand about Emilia’s playstyle is that when they slank they’re scum (going off of what other people said.) However I think even without that metaing of the slot they’ve done almost nothing despite almost everyone going “yeah Ranta is probably scum” they still have like, 0 votes on them besides vulgard I think (And even then I think vulgard might be off the slot now?). If they are apparently like obvious scum why are we just ignoring their slot and letting them get away with this stuff

My third and weakest scumread is Vulgard. To be fair, you could replace Vulgard with any of the current topposters (Atlas, Arctic, even Wind I guess). From my perspective, I think that the current top two wagons are really weak. Squirrel is funky but not outraguesly funky and Ash is bad but still has some towny things, a lot more towny things than the other two slots that I’m mentioning here. I don’t really see a good reason why all of these people are pushing for ash/squirrel wagons which I currently believe are v/v or maybe even v/w with how Crich has acted around the wagons. I might be dumb, in fact i AM dumb, but I just really don’t like how Crich has swapped his vote around the wagons so many times and how he’s treated them. I guess this isn’t really scumreading vulgard but oh well I wanted to fill out a scumteam and here it is so u got my explanation for the wagons instead

and I’m all out of newspaper

this part really feels like squirrel is posting like he thinks a villager should act rather than how a villager actually acts
the stance he takes on claiming is obviously pro-town, but the fact he justifies his ash vote with it feels overblown

it’s also an easy excuse to push someone. “you did anti-town thing, i must vote you”
worse that he never relents on this

he also distances himself from the discussion a lot (on day 1)

marl - he’s continuing to tunnel me despite the push having a very little traction in a way that reads confbias town to me.
atlas - mostly vibes/gutreading, but also doesn’t seem like he’s pushing agenda

min - I have a bunch of different associatives with this slot in my head but I need those to flip before I can figure out min’s alignment
wind - feels decent tonally but posting is reminding me of SCP mafia and I’m paranoid
legit everyone else if you’re in here your slot didn’t do enough for my sleep-deprived brain to remember you so have fun no offense

moose - pushes are weird and feel performative or like they’re trying to blend in
ash - there was a post that felt like it was trying too hard to explain itself

none of these look like a result of a genuine process based on squirrel’s earlier posts

These posts are really bold to make as partners, though I don’t think it’s necessarily out of either’s wolfrange.

Taking a more broad approach on if YBW is partners with ash, using wazza as a way to push vulgard spews v!vulgard if w!YBW; hiding behind wazza points towards a wolf wanting to avoid backlash from the wrong read instead of getting towncred for the bus.

The same reasoning can be applied the other way around to make a case for v!YBW if w!vulgard, since w!YBW would want to get credit for bussing vulgard.

Note that this doesn’t mean they can’t be T/T, just that they can’t be W/W.

The YBW push is a little bit in Ranta’s favor, since she made it during D2 but notably didn’t join in while Wind/Wazza were pushing YBW D3 (and was in thread before arctic claimed).

other than that, this is probably squirrel’s best post all game… and there’s something to note here. i find it weird that the post simultaneously calls the last packwolf a priority yeet while saying squirrel should go next (before marl) when that loses squirrel the game. maybe he thought sulit was town but this just seems strange. if he’s bussing for credit then why say he should go next?

this is 100% correct and the idea he killed wazza after saying this doesn’t sit right with me unless he is exactly the jk
which he clearly isn’t because he’s asked to die numerous times and jk wouldn’t want that

if he’s not the jk and also the lw, he doesn’t know if the jk will follow his advice or not, which makes a wazza kill incredibly risky and just bizarre after he said this
