opinion:
they help build a sense of community and appreciation for me
they help me feel closer to people in a fundamentally social game

i trust people not to abuse them to signal and stuff because i feel like i prefer mafia games to buid a more intimate relation with my peers rather than a clinical one

i think what they add to connection is worth more than what they take away from integrity

that said, its only one game and it doesnt rly matter that much
