I have spent about 0 seconds looking at illwei and trying to figure out their alignment.

Vul is a very capable wolf (i mean wolf wolf, not lost wolf) and knows how to interact, and not interact, with partners
I think he picked alana as his target correct pet wolfread, for whatever reason, potentially because shes the only wolf he doesnt know so shes a safe person to soft-push and back off of. Decided “im going to push alana to signal to wolves and i’ll back off later” or something of the sort
I think he would definitely townread some wolves
Definitely ignore some wolves
And definitely push wolves whenever he feels its in his best interest to do so

Good to know about me is that I’m not good at expressing myself in general when I’m playing. I used to be better but I changed how I play as to not burn myself out as much. People back on MU says I have good intuition but it’s more of a case of me not putting enough effort into forming my thoughts and feelings into words.
And Illwei isn’t a town read I’d bet the game on, which also makes me less keen to try to convince someone else on it. I’m prepared to re-evaluate later on, but it’s a town read I have right now and my d2-d3 reads tends to be the most accurate. That do, however, apply to smaller games. I haven’t gotten much experience playing games in this size, hence there are a lot of people that I’ve sorted quickly and then put out of my focus. Illwei is one of those.

Vulgard seems like someone who does what he does to wolf mates intentionally. Whether that’s ignoring or distancing or whatever, he’s not avoiding them like most wolves do.
And I don’t see any intentions behind their interactions.
