…I still don’t think it solves the issue of mafia having very little chance if 2 mafia die back to back early on
Three people were sent to hell and judgment day happened here
However it encourages mafia to push to send themselves to heaven solely so there aren’t a lot of mafia in the game during judgment day
Which is REALLY cool and it also encourages mafia to keep mafia from being killed early on

1 f 1 trades are way more favorable here I think and I like that too
I think i dont like that mafia has both no ability to kill someone off and also not all of them even need to be discovered to lose
finding town is really not that hard usually tbh

I think this solves this problem because sure yoy can find a couple town but if two mafia snuck themselves into heaven and a judgement day happened with like 5 town and only 3 mafia who all need to be sent to hell for town to win
that’s so good for mafia and it’s well played by them
It rewards cool plays like that

I will be interested to see more runs of this setup, I just think sneaking into heaven feels really tough compared to normal mafia goals.

also a good player like me can never get into heaven, you know? Any really good scum player you ‘cant take that risk’
whereas in normal mafia, I might be scum, but i have options to help my team

there was the small possibility of a game getting to f2 with judgment day mechanics
and that highlights the last man standing issue here

I would like it if the game ever reaches judgment day the normal win cons are erased. It’s just like “ok, you fucked up, lylo for your life” and it feels fair since judgment day involves ‘outside help’
