I disagree that you do not advance your wincon by going up, you are the only one you know is 100% town, so you being sent up as town is always better then someone else
So with that logic, everyone should like being sent up
Which would mean that someone not wanting to be sent up might just be a mafia trying to replicate what they think a townie would say, without this actually being the case
Ofc it wouldn’t help a wolf’s wincon to not be sent to heaven* (it does have the same benefit that you point out of having influence in the other phases)
I do however agree that in this specific case with it being

- You seeming very confident in your reads

You’re not wanting to stay on earth is my point. Your posts read “I dont want to go up, but if you reallyyyy want me toooo”. At best it comes odd. A wolf wanting to be TRd due to the LHF logic that “wolves want to go up.”
it’s better in the short term, specifically this phase exactly, but there are more phases after that, and i’d like to think in the long term
if everyone wants to be the person to be voted up, it would be a 1-1-1-1-1 etc. tie,
so someone has to break the tie and vote for someone else other than themselves
i’m not confident in my reads, but i’d like to think my presence can be helpful to town chopping wolves. if i were to “die”, id leave only a legacy. if im alive id like to think i can contribute better. if i only leave a legacy im afraid that it might be wrong, and i wont be alive to reevaluate

this is accurate, because im town, i dont know people’s alignments, and im trying to think 5 phases ahead, trying to think of worst case scenario, trying to think how much confidence should i have in my reads, and what you guys are suggesting

we do have quite the different mindsets because i do believe that we should still be scumhunting today above all, but im realizing that you guys are less focused on that? i do believe using this phase as an extension of tomorrow is adequate. i mean, it is going to come in the imminent future, and its the phase where we achieve our wincon, so might as well optimize it, no? and borrow some time from here to invest in the future
