Iâd argue theyâre kinda comparably bad in a sense, though. I mean, PGO is stupid, swingy when relevant, and doesnât have much agency. One could make a better variant of the role. Bus Driver and Transporter are stupid, swingy when relevant, and while they have agency, usually make a mess. Itâs not clear that one could really make a better variant of the role without making something that really isnât the same thing.

id argue theyre both stupid swingy but bus driver canât randomly merk the deepwolf like pgo can, it just turns into a flat doc + vig thing
so marginally better but massive swing precludes either in a setup

Bus Driver is terrible in a way that PGO just isnât
PGO is terrible in how it cheats
It doesnât have to choose
You cannot reasonably predict how many kills it will get
Its power is entirely reliant on extraneous factors in a manner that makes it impossible to work with
It even encourages some of the most frustrating plays Iâve ever seen
It is runnable in the same way you can run a bus driver, but the problem it poses is different to bus driver
Bus Driver is comparable to various styles of protective at the end of the day
Itâs just a stupid protective

I mean, the way to make it work is to limit its impact. A reflexive vigilante that can only kill one player all game is much more reasonable than an unlimited form, but both would generally be called a PGO.
