Like a regular redirection role can do that to a degree but usually has more agency. A Bus Driver hurts that agency since mistakes tend to be hugely swingy in a negative direction for the user.

Reflexive roles just in general need restrictions to not be absurdly swingy. It’s why they still worked in Trinity Blood (a game of mine over on MC). But mass-redirective roles just don’t need to be swapping. Swapping specifically has just such a huge jump between being useful/impactful versus useless/irrelevant.
(Not to mention that most of the useful cases are miserable.)

It’s the fact that everyone is mostly blind to their roles and don’t know what the hell we are, mixed with the fact that you’re adding bastard roles like Godfather in, and you got literal FAKE RED CHECKS IN THE SAME GAME AS WELL!

I don’t remember doing this, or having a read on Osie in general. You could be right though but to my knowledge I don’t think I had a true read on him.
Okay, I’m going to post from this account actually to make this easier.
First of all, I apologize for how I acted during this game towards the players. I acted in a way that was entirely condescending and insulting towards everyone on the site, and it’s especially worse when I did it while being entirely detrimental to town in my play.
This…setup and game just sucked. It should not have been allowed to be run without changing things, and whoever accepted this I WANT to know why they did.
The concept is neat, but you mix with the players being blind to their roles, the roles being closed, and the fact that the role effects (Again, literally fucking fake red and green checks both in the same game…come the fuck on) it just makes it all entirely mafsided and impossible for town to get anywhere.
The neighborhood I find to be fine, we knew that it said “neighborhood” and it’s up to Kiiruma and I to read all slots that were in said neighborhood correctly and we didn’t do so. I can’t speak for Kiiruma with how he was reading, but for myself I was being lazy and just hoped all 3 were town. THAT was my fault.
What makes me even more angry about the setup, was the fact that on Day 1 my only scumread that I had on the game was on Hippo. I couldn’t explain why because I have a horrific ability to do so, and I don’t go absolutely nuts for a yeet to go through unless I’m extremely confident on the player flipping mafia.
I used my night action on Hippo to see what would happen, and like I said, I got a green check out of it. So I thought I was an alignment cop, and I kind of got excited because I got a role that’s extremely useful and there’s no real chance I fuck up my night action.
Low and behold it ended up hard shielding a mafia member…because fuck my life.
Also the host didn’t give me my role changing until AFTER I asked my 4 questions Day 2, which left me in the dark without a real chance to gain any vision.
Like others said, I avoid games hosted by Zone in the future.
