Kings

  • The starting King will be either The Good King or The Evil King. The Good King has a 65% chance to spawn, The Evil King has a 35% chance.
  • If a new King is elected, the King they become is determined based on their faction prior to stepping. Blue Dragon become The Good King, Cult and Unseen become The Evil King, neutrals (excluding NKs) become The Neutral King, neutral killers become The Psycho King.

King elections

  • If the King dies, and there are five or more players who register as alive, living players may step up to become King.
  • Players will have 12 hours after the start of the day to step for King (you may pre-submit that you would like to step for King if you are worried you will not be able to make it to the first 12 hours of a day). You may also privately say that you are not stepping for King; if everyone submits to either step or not step, the voting period may begin early.
  • If there are no candidates, no one becomes King. If there is only one candidate, that candidate automatically becomes King. Otherwise, all players vote privately from among the candidates who stepped on who will become the next King. This voting period lasts 12 hours, and may end early if all players have voted.
  • The player who receives the most votes (after accounting for Royal Blood) becomes King. In the event of a tie for the king election, no one becomes King.
  • In the event of two consecutive days that fail to produce a new King, no one will be King for the rest of the game.
  • Day abilities may not be used during any stage of the King election (stepping or voting).
