To me, I’ve been viewing both Moose and Jarek you kind of through the same lens, you’re both relatively new to forum mafia, you’re mostly familiar with the mechanical side of things, and not as used to making social reads. you’ve tried to analyze things somewhat but have gotten frustrated and bored, there’s not a ton of info to work with here and your roles don’t give you anything to do. It’s…more or less understandable for a new player to get bored in that situation as town. What I’m not sensing, necessarily, is any ulterior motivation in their play. i think inexperienced scum in their position tends to be more…opportunistic? (i mean, possibly i’m wrong about moose and she’s just waiting to slam the door shut on me, but meh). I feel like I had more to say but I lost my train of thought so I’m just going to stop here.
I don’t have a lot of free time these days and I don’t want to waste it being shut down with my bad reads so I’d rather just be more passive?
It’s really as simple as that.
Bad reads are better than no reads. Besides, you don’t know if your reads are good or not if you don’t post them in thread.

Well I don’t have any reads to give you, I’m town and that should be good enough you shouldn’t even be concerned because I’m not someone you should have to deal with

In my world the only way I’m evil right now is if you voted out my 2 mafia teammates and I’m giving up because I’m the last one left, if you can put a world where that’s the case out there I’ll gladly debunk it the best I can even though I have nothing anyway
This isn’t a villagery mindset to have admittedly. You need to show us that you’re town. We aren’t just going to take your word for it. You can’t just play passively. That’s how town loses these games.
Why do I bother saying anything
this game is a mess
it is a frustrating mindset but I actually believe it is a villagery one - you have to judge people on their motivations, not on how high they’re willing to jump to clear a bar for you. effort is not an indicator of alignment.

Well I lost my only way of influencing the game, I’m dead and forced to stay in the theead, my reads are realistically just trash and I can’t decipher a thing as everytime I enter the thread it’s yet another argument

I’d say having your voice still matters, because I believe that, but realistically I’m not sure how many people are actually paying attention to you now (although I still am). I’m sorry.
Normally I’d be celebrating this milestone, yet something tells me this isn’t celebration time.
