I love that I get to be kind of dumb here. I spent sooo long either actively trying to constantly present myself as the smartest person in the room or inadvertently doing so because old habits die hard. And I have finally shaken it here. People treat me like a fucking Person not some kind of creature who exists to get school grades and go home Or some kind of creature who is built on some level they perceive could not possible itā€™s so much nicer. I get to be dumb and bad at mafia and I am so much happier nya nya nya nya nya

Plus it is helpful to not tie my identity up on being the smartest and best at everything when 1. I am not 2. Even what I do have deteriorates so. My brain does not work like it used to. It is obvious it does not. Here that is fine. It changes nothing

I simultaneously believe and do not believe I am the smartest person in the room. I believe it and I know itā€™s wrong so i correct for the assumption but then I go ā€œall these people think theyā€™re the smartest in the room and Iā€™m the only one correcting for my assumptions therefore I am better and smarter than all of themā€ and trhen J correct for THAT assumption and it keeps going ad infinitum
