Whats your favorite dish?

Im still a beginner but I finally managed to get the hang of preparing rice. It was so difficult, I kept either burning the bottom, or having it stick, or having it be too clumpy, or too mushy, one time undercooked. It took me many tries but I finally got there. I hate that there’s an information overload on the internet on how you’re supposed to prepare it, nobody agrees on a consensus. And my packaging instructions were cringe. They said that I should be stirring it, lid open, AFTER the water is boiling and I reduced it to a simmer. Which is what everyone is writing that is a crime, unless you’re making risotto.
