Yeah the two ish ways to make rice is

Wash rice
Bring amount of water for rice to a boil (depends on rice type iirc, but it’s usually two cups water for one cup rice)
Add amount of rice
Turn down heat to a simmer
Cover rice
And cook until package instructions say

Or

Wash rice
Put rice in your cooking vessel
Fill with water to first knuckle (although i myself arent sure what this means to be completely honest)
Bring to a boil and then repeat last 3 steps from above

Also to be completely honest? I dont have a favourite recipe i make
