Rules:

1. Follow the Forum Game Rules.
2. Post a minimum of 10 game related posts per active phase.
3. Fail to heed the former rules more than twice, and you will be subbed out or modkilled.
4. I can and might have to add and/or remove rules in the future. Except the first rule.
   Let’s just hope that I won’t have to use this rule.

General Mechanics

• This is an open setup: There are 2 Town Inventor, 7 Town Quack Inventor, and 2 Mafia False Inventor.
• Day Phases last 48 hours unless majority is reached early. Night Phases last 24 hours.
• All actions must be submitted in your role cards / role PMs.
• Mafia members may communicate through Discord during both phases.
• Factional attacks are optional and assigned.
• The host will announce when XYLO occurs.
• The game starts when the player list is fully filled.

Special Mechanics

• Quack Inventors think they are normal Inventors.
• Each night, Quack Inventors have a 50% odds of failing to deliver their items. These items will be lost to the void and cannot be traced.
• Using items will be regarded as using an ability.
• Multitasking, i.e. using multiple abilities on the same phase, is not allowed. However, factional abilities (i.e. factional kill) is the sole exception.

Items

Binocular
Once during night phase, you may target another player. You will learn at most one random player who has visited your target other than yourself this night.

Eraser
Once during night phase, you may target another player. You will prevent that player from successfully performing their action.

Green Potion
Once during night phase, you may target another player. Your target will be protected from any attacks and cured of any poison. (If the target is poisoned on the same night, then they will be cured immediately.)

Binocular (Quack)
Once during night phase, you may activate this ability and learn a random living player’s name.
This item will appear as a real Binocular.

Eraser (Quack)
Once during night phase, you may target another player. That player will not be seen by any Binoculars on this night.
This item will appear as a real Eraser.

Green Potion (Quack)
Once during night phase, you may target another player. Any action that your target is performing tonight -except the factional attack- will be delayed until the next night. (This ability effectively roleblocks your target and forces them to repeat tonight’s action on the next night.)
This item will appear as a real Green Potion.

Binocular (Fake)
Once during night phase, you may target another player. You will learn at most one random player who did not visit your target this night.
This item will appear as a real Binocular.

Eraser (Fake)
Once during night phase, you may activate this ability and secretly set your own vote weight to zero on the next day. This effect will not show up at any VC, but it does exist.
This item will appear as a real Eraser.

Green Potion (Fake)
Once during night phase, a random Town player will be poisoned in public at the start of the next day, causing them to die at the end of the next night.
This item will appear as a real Green Potion.

Active: Present (Quack) Invention
Each night, you may target a player and give them one of the following items: [Binoculars (Quack), Eraser (Quack), Green Potion (Quack)]. You only have one of each item.

You win when all threats have been completely eliminated, and when at least 1 Town member is still alive.

You are a [Mafia] False Inventor

Passive: Present False Invention
Each night, you may target a player and give them one of the following items: [Binoculars (Fake), Eraser (Fake), Green Potion (Fake)]. You only have one of each item.

You win when all Town members have been completely eliminated, or when nothing prevents this from happening.

Vote Mechanics

• Use the latest voting format.
• Plurality: Whoever has the most votes at the end of a phase will die.
• Majority: At any point during day phase, whoever has >50% of all votes will die.
• [No Exe] is a valid vote, and may be hammered to end the day early.
• In case of a tie, a random player within the tie will be executed. However, if the tie includes [No Exe], then nobody will be executed.
• Self-votes are considered valid votes.
• Votes are locked in XYLO scenarios.
