Tales of the Abyss - Town Victory!

I hate this word. Despise it really.

Mafia buzz words must die

As someone who likes Mafia terminology, Iā€™m sure I donā€™t know what you mean. After going radio silent, Lea tries to assert herself in the loudest way imaginable by pushing someone suspicious at the start of the second day before anyone else can to take the credit.

Wagons: I think Lea is town. Frost could be a hit no strong feelings there. Hippo is the better exe in my eyes offā€¦ wellā€¦ everything. Spew. Treatment of Leafia. Things I pointed out yesterday. Achros read. Achro coming around to my thoughts on Hippo. Lawyering.

Reads are simpler

Town Core for me is looking like

Zenon
Marluna
Prophylaxis
Hazard

I have some more town leans Iā€™m not like really willing to talk about right now because I donā€™t trust them fully.

My immediate PoE is like

Hippo
May
Frost

He seems jittery like he did when I caught him that first game. But he also is hitting some notes Iā€™m used to seeing.

I always think Frost is a wolf and I think that here too.

I still personally think at worst lea is SKā€¦ i dont see them being scum allied with leafia

Please donā€™t.

Although if I managed to help vote out a wolf today too it would be mildly funny if I got to keep living after helping kill 2 in a row lol

Mafia is a game of probability one outlier shouldnā€™t change general thought process

Yeah kk i was right i was counting Leafia in this

Its Frost if itā€™s either

Lea seems competentā€¦ what implies theyā€™d go radio silent at the end of the day just because a team mate was getting hard pushed.

Iā€™d be more inclined to think Lea was a wolf if they hard bussed Leafia instead of disappeared. I mean I disappeared.

Performative is a buzzword that leads to misexes more than finds wolfs. I hate it like I hate all mafia buzz words

Meh I will talk about a few of these

Lea
Mr. L
Sulit
Garfooled

For now Iā€™m ignoring the SK and just solving in town v mafia worlds but this is possible yes

Why do you think Lea is town, Zenon?

Do you think theyā€™re playing too on-the-nose to be a wolf with Leafia?

Because if they are a wolf, then what they did yesterday is like, the most level one basic play from the mafia handbook. (If one of your buddies is attacked, defend them loosely while attacking their attacker - chainsaw defense). And maybe theyā€™re playing the leveling game here but I am unsure.

I dont hate this POE.

Nvm you explained it above.

Yeah thatā€™s what Iā€™d expect as well, but Lea seems comfortable with playing unconventionally, which is why Iā€™m directly asking them to explain their mindset and thought process.

For people who have played with May: Is their recent inactivity alignment indicative? Are they someone with a clear preference for one alignment over another or did they just get overbooked with games?

I for one was looking forward to playing with May as I donā€™t believe Iā€™ve played with them before, and I hope they show up and contribute Today.

Brain issues make things hard to explain sometimes.

But like i think their play is likely SK oriented if they are an evil at all. Like woofs want to survive even more than town so in most cases and Lea spent the first half of D1 intentionally appearing as wolfy as possible which is kinda why I just ignored them and slapped a light TR on them.

Maybe thatā€™s in their wolf play book but in most cases I find people who appear that blatantly wolfy are usually town. Its likeā€¦I just played a game on MU with a person bashed Rem right and me and her vote each other like every game so we decided to form a masonry and block vote instead this game but she was intentionally behaving wolfy and so on about D3 she got hard run up for being wolfy and despite both me defending her and the guy who died N1 having hard defended her before he died nobody would listen

So eventually she self voted which i policy normally but i could tell she was just town. And she flipped town wouldnā€™t you know.

If Iā€™m looking at ā€œperson who soft defended Leafia while throwing shade at her pushersā€ Iā€™m looking at the person Iā€™m voting. They also left them self plenty of outs ultimately pivoting into Leafia in the end.

Thatā€™s more likely a hit to me.

It was just reading back on this game. The way he has presented himself and the way he has attacked other players has him as a lock town.

I was able to find this postgame message from a hydra mafia loss.

On the other hand, I am of the personal opinion that while Mayā€™s raw inactivity is NAI, the degree to which they have been inactive may not be. May is not as much of a reliable top-poster as you would think.
