The Boys - Game Over - Marissa wins!

in exchange you wouldn’t take that player’s action the next round.

but yeah, in most of the time, simply attacking would have worth more than using Coerce. No wonder Hazard never used it even once.

It was basically your own fault that you had so little health, that you had.

not sure how to implement that. but in the original game only shields gained from basic defend burned you if you overshielded. shields gained from powers didn’t. i made this change, but i might revert to that ruling willow did

You’re dying?

At least I’m feeling that way.

Yesterday my fever was above 37,5/99,5
(THat’s why I gave you an automation, and logged out from the ALIAS game.)

Oh jesus. I was hoping that you were just saying it as a phrase and not literally. It sounded like you had a terminal disease. Sillyhead, you made me worried. I hope you feel better soon!

coerce seems particularly good earlygame, and particularly mid latergame

it’s also quite effective against lair of evil specifically, which is why I had any usage of coerce against me really high on my revenge list

I straight up would have suggesting deleting my game from the qeueu instead of ‘just’ skipping over, in that case.

Yeah

And the target could still use basic attacks

Which was like, the most important thing to stop

Wait, it didn’t stop basic attack?
I didn’t even notice that part…

Ehhhhh
I’m tinkering with an alternative idea that’s something like
After round 3 everyone gives a bad power to the player below them (or like, voted on from a list, but such that everyone gets 1 nerf)
I think dictatorship mode is required especially for this concept, because it requires a lot of good faith in the players to not create nerfs that read “You lose” and instead create ones that are actually interesting
(I will say that i do want people to have agency in what the power is with that though)

Overall i think it turned out ~fine (if lacking a little spice) and my biggest issue with this game was just that the player designed powers were just badly designed in a way numbers couldn’t fix imo
I wanted to submit a power to do things related to that but me and kyo ended up with Lair of Evil and Gambling instead which had very similar issues

Actually the strongest part of coerce was piercing all basic defense. That part is super fucking strong

Also i think this is just because of the rushed design phase
Rushed isn’t the right word but time wasn’t taken for clarity before revealing
