The Boys - Game Over - Marissa wins!

to be honest i think poison ivy was honestly the only thing i had issues with. everyone else was fine. just the fact it was unblockable you know

yes things should be intensely clear, i think it happened a couple times where intent was assumed to be one way but actually the other

poison ivy/Tree of Life were by far the most powerful ones (barring the really early ones like paranoia and the one really OP one garfooled pulled

and what did you think about the action system change? (in the first game there were 2 rounds. in the 2nd round you could only bet on 2 powers you previously bid on)

this was 1 round, bid unlimited on 8 powers

did that feel better? and/or do you think something else could be done thats better?

seriously tutuu if garfooled didnt instadie, there would be so much tilt abt that burn penalty “”“minor”"" power

yeah, stacking the same powers, would bring a favor to one side.

I would appriciate mor variety, but not allowing stacking.
(I had like +20 damage from the same minor powers only, which meant I needed to use 20 less energy to attack others if I didn’t have insect swarm.)

initially i planned on every minor power being unique but then i realized i had to design 100+ unique powers and then i made this face: :eye: :lips: :eye:

i think if you gave each minor power a set amount of times it could appear it might be better.

Like poison ivy can only appear 3 times in a game

i think 1 poison ivy is fine. but as marluna stated once it stacks it fucking hurts

repetition isn’t bad, stacking is.

honestly, the same like 8 minor powers was actually super chill i thought it brought a fun dynamic

def nerf tree of life tho

and poison ivy, which sucks because its at least 8 dmg unblockable to a player

i liked the current bidding system you did.

i think it brought early manipulation into play. over hyping abilties you didnt want and under hyping others

how would you implement a system with repeating minor powers but not allowing to stack them? if no valid targets people just sit with them and holster them?

it didnt matter who you chose, just that you did it. so your willingness was strongly appreciated

maybe make it procedual?

every extra stack of posion ivy is less potent

second stack is -2 health
third stack is -1

so worse case you are hit with 6

and one more question - did you guys like the rng from the drawing of minor powers or nah? i thought the rng could be fun to scratch the gambling itch, but maybe frustrating in long form forum games?
