(just to be clear overhealing was already anticipated highly by me, i was very careful with that with minor powers). i dont anticipate anyone overhealing too much, other than the slight amount of health from Insanity which might no even do anything)
Yes, it’s good. (At least it doesn’t combo with copy this way.)
Also, it’s not impossible that a minor power will allow people to overheal.

it is a good idea to make people’s starting health be the one after bids. i didnt think of that. i thought to make it 100 still and just let people be damaged. good suggestion marluna (and marissa)

i used the same thing marissa did, i just think my way is simpler. less math numbers. at best its 2x increase at 100 health. medium its 1x, no change, at 50 health. anything less than 50 - lose damage. anything more than 50 - gain damage

its just that there’s two variables involved so you have to get a bit more complicated than a simple line
well there is a slight change, % remaining health matters depending on starting health, if they count for damaged or not. let me think if i ruined it too much

me when i can deal 200 damage to someone if i have 100 health. this is peak
if a player has 70 health and insect swarm and they invest 70 damage into attacking they end up dealing 98. it doesnt seem that weak
yeah its one of those powers that is all-or-nothing i think
yeah the damage bonus doesnt seem bad. if anything we could nerf the damage boost and nerf the damage loss. make it less extreme. but that would require more numbers. more numbers = bad. monkey doesnt wanna calculate
To be fair, you’re not starting with 200 damage because of the bidding, and there’s a pretty hefty decrease off the bat.
