also a clarification since there are multiple stealing and copying abilities

by “internal tracker” i mean - you have that tracker for abilities of that name. not instances of those abilities. so if your tracker says “i’ve used swapper 3 times this game” and your swapper ability gets taken away and you gain a brand new copy of swapper from someone who hasnt used it - your tracker is still at 3

1. Alliance:

Once per round you may publicly attempt to befriend a player. If they accept you can’t target each other with Basic Attacks and Damaging Powers for the rest of the round.

It stops the following Damaging Powers:
Big Punch
Coerce
Your target shooting you with a revolver from Russian Roulette (but they may still give or pass you a revolver)
Lazer Eyes
Insanity
Game Show Driven (only the rewards that deal damage)
Gambling? I’m in!
(and Insect Swarm as that’s a Basic attack enhancement)

If power gets stolen you keep the temporary Alliance effect, if it’s in place

2. Big Punch:

Spend X energy to attack a player for X * 1.25 damage.

3. Coerce:

Spend X energy and choose an opponent.

At the end of this round, that player may burn 0.25 * X (unblockable damage) (round to nearest integer). If they do not, they can neither target you with a strictly harmful Power nor will their Basic Defend block your Basic Attack, for the next Round only.

It stops the following Powers:
Big Punch
Coerce
Copy Option 3
Your target shooting you with a revolver from Russian Roulette (but they may still give or pass you a revolver)
Lazer Eyes
Insanity
Game Show Driven (only the rewards that deal damage or permanently steal)

Doesn’t stop Insect Swarm, The Greatest Scam, Gambling? I’m in! (not strictly harmful) and any other Major Powers

4. Copy:

If you bid on this ability, choose one of the three options below. It will act accordingly as chosen by the player, who bid the second-highest on this ability. (In case only one player bids on it, it will work according their wish)

Option 1:
When you get this ability from the Auction, publicly choose another Major Power from this game. This ability text transforms to that Power (can’t target The Greatest Scam)

Option 2:
Once per round, privately choose a Major Power owned by another living player that does not require activation during Main Phase 1.

In case of passive Power, you gain the passive from now until the end of the Round.

In case of a Power with activation: if that ability is activated by your target, during this Main Phase 2, you will immediately temporarily copy it and use it on a target of your choice (you need to pre-emptively submit that choice in case you succeed)

(end of round it will be revealed if you successfully copied anything, and your target)

Option 3:
Once per round you may publicly pay X health: Gain a permanent copy of any other Major Power, where X is the winning bid on the Power. You may only copy each Major Power once this way. Can’t copy The Greatest Scam

Interactions:

Each player has their own internal tracking for Option 3 in case of copying / stealing

5. Russian Roulette:

Publicly activate this ability to give any player including yourself a revolver. It has chambers equal to the amount of currently alive players. One chamber at random has a bullet, the others are blanks.
It has the following characteristics for its holder:
During standard action submission, you may shoot any player (including yourself) with this revolver.
If you shoot the bullet, you deal 20 damage and the revolver is discarded.
if you shoot a blank at another player, you pass them the revolver.
If you shoot a blank at yourself, you heal for 5 Health (can’t overheal more than starting Health) and pass it to any other living player of your choice.
Each revolver may be shot at each player once only. If no more valid targets - discard it.
Once discarded, you can activate this ability to make a new revolver.

6. Insect Swarm:

Your Basic Attacks Damage is multiplied by your Health (capped at 100 Health for the multiplication) and divided by 50.

7. Lazer eyes:

Spend 20 energy to deal 30 damage to a player. If possible, you MUST use this ability the next round, on the same player, and then you are free to target elsewhere or holster this ability.

Each player has their own internal tracking for this ability in case of copying / stealing

If your target is swapped by Swapper, you must attempt to target whoever you ended up hitting the next Round (even if it’s yourself)
Clause is broken by Alliance

8. Restart?:

Only one Power with the name “Restart?” may be used for the entire game total, by anyone.
Change every player’s health other than yours to their starting Health (which is their Health after bids). If anyone ends up losing Health due to this, record that, and make them lose double that.

If anyone gains or loses Health due to this ability, make them gain or lose that much Energy for this round only

9. Swapper:

Burn Yx10 (unblockable damage) , where Y is the number of times you’ve used this ability. You may swap yourself with another player. All Powers and Basic Attacks targetting that player during Main Phase 2 only (excluding self-targets) will be considered to target you, and vice versa.

Disabled in F2.

Does not affect things that target outside Main Phase 2, and does not interact with the act of giving people Minor Powers.

Each player has their own internal tracking for this ability in case of copying / stealing

If one player is targeted by two or more copies of “Swapper” - negate the resolution of all of them

Interacts with the following:
Basic Attacks
Big Punch
Coerce
Getting shot at by the revolver (but not self-shooting; and circumvents the revolver restriction to be unable to shoot same person twice)
Lazer eyes

10. The Greatest Scam:

Only one Power with the name “The Greatest Scam?” may be used for the entire game total, by anyone.
May not be copied.
Use this ability only if you have 5 or more Good Minor powers

Lose all of your Good Minor powers. Each other player gains a copy of a new instance of those powers.

Then, permanently steal a Major or Minor Power from each other player, other than the instances you just gave them.
