it was still really fun for those who played though
i want to try to capture that while eliminating the endgame issues

i don’t think it’ll ever be perfect
i might, in the far future, experiment with reducing round count

at some level the frustrating endgame is inevitable due to format restrictions
i would place a large emphasis on not being toxic about it

inevitable as in
“most games will arrive at this conclusion at some point”

this is also why as a host i have broken a lot of the FM-standard rules
its just. a casual game
being kind of competitive is good but fundamentally you shouldn’t take winning that seriously lol

ok actually i did it because i couldn’t help myself but shut up

agree but also i think online longform social deduction attracts some real hypercompetitive goobers lol… myself included. easier said than done

yeah o kfair

If it ever becomes optimal to hunt for draw votes like it did here, the game will need to be terminated to cut off toxicity and degenerate play.

So the preeminent goal in setupcraft for this game should be to minimize the odds of the above occuring while players posseess knowledge of such a fact

oh yeah no that’s part of why i am just eliminating 3ps

Thanks
Given our position this game hunting for draw was the only way to not gamethrow

A 3p thats only wincon is for game to end in a draw

3p who’s goal is for the game to get canned / no contest / atleast one player banned over course of game
