Just curious Leafia. What do you hope to gain from this “pressure vote”? I’ve never seen anyone openly explain something is a pressure vote as they’re voting so this strikes me as odd.

Alright, it pinged me because I just got out of a game where scum pointed to town early and claimed the townie “had a high level of activity and scumhunting”, when they really didn’t. I didn’t get the impression from your first 20 posts that you were really doing early solving at all. Not that a lack of early solving makes you scum, but that scum can point to town and make up bad reasons for giving them a town read, and that’s what this felt like.

This could mostly apply to Rad themselves here, if I’m being honest?

I think the quotes Magnus provided were useful but I have to really look at them in comparison to what Leafia’s presented in this game so far. I try to tone read that sort of thing to see if there’s a difference and that takes some focused attention.

So either scum!alana did the latter, or town!alana just got the wrong impression. I still lean towards scum there (slight lean but I have to admit it’s a scum lean).

Could be TMI that crich is town, or could be SvS not realizing he hasn’t actually been solvey. Could be TvX and I’m overthinking it. Again though, I did just get out of a game where SvT the S pointed to the T and said “look how solvey” and that just wasn’t the case, so I might have some bias there spotting this.

Nah I get it. It’s step 1 of finding scum. Is this person interacting? No? Might be scum, better look closer. Interacting as scum is just harder so it’s natural to look at people from that angle first. Doesn’t mean low interaction necessitates scum, or that high interaction necessitates town, but yeah it’s a flag that’s always worth looking into.
