US Election: Discussion Thread

If California went red it would be joever yeah. The same if Texas went blue. Would be insane though in either case.

texas has a much higher chance of flipping blue than cali flipping red

no i meant

president needs 270 votes right

kamala will win those 54 from california. and i was saying those will be very helpful coz things are looking bad for kamala rn (from my limited understanding of how things work)

Apparently, Texas is, like, 51-48 or something like that.
Which is almost certainly not flipping, but it’s kinda wild that it’s that close.

granted I think texans would need to lock the fuck in and vote to make that happen

it’s not really looking bad for kamala

michigan, nevada, pennsylvania, wisconsin, north carolina, georgia, arizona & new hampshire are the states which decide the election

the other states are pretty much already decided

I’m pretty sure if you try to vote for president in calfironia they toss your vote into a paper shredder and when the election officials come over and ask who won they just hand over a page scribbled in blue crayon

I feel reasonably confident in kamala winning

look at the Texas senate race compared to the presidential race

what happened i’m too lazy to check

Ted is winning by like 70k which means he’s underperforming compared to the president vote bt a lot

Smaller states report faster which are more reliably red. States that solidly go one way or the other also are called faster.

40k?

My friend lives in california and held a Tumblr poll to decide wh o they should vote for president

i mean
it’s cancun cruz

Loudon going red +8 is bad. A lot of rural GA went red which is bad.

Why in the world would you do that one tumbler.
