an evil part of me would feel satisfaction from donald trump winning purely because i think the quality of memes from the fallout would be better. kamala winning is the vanilla, normal route. if this was a visual novel. expected, straightforward result. boring. yawn. trump winning would be the secret route
Uh, roughly on that note: if you are at all capable of it, don’t ruin your evening staring blankly at an election map. It doesn’t do anything, it doesn’t actually give you any more information than checking in once an hour or even just once tomorrow will, it just wastes your evening on an activity which is neither fulfilling nor fun, and the live information updates aren’t even that useful for knowing, you know, who the president is going to be.
Obviously, I am sure everybody knows this already, and it much easier said than done, but anything you can do to avoid burning eight hours on doing literally nothing is worth it, IMO. Don’t let your brain justify it to yourself. The end outcome is important, but you gain no additional information staring at the map. If anybody wants to be occupied I will teach you how to play mahjong or learn how to play whatever game you want or play Discord golf or whatever
