This quick turnaround seems realistic. The initial realization is something that can be faked easily, but I appreciate that Jarek immediately proceeded to consider the implication that Leafia’s death had on its theories. I do not think this entire debacle is clearing, but it certainly improves my opinion of Jarek somewhat.
This is the reason that I responded to Jarek as if Leafia were still alive despite having read the nightkill myself, by the way. I wanted to see how he would speak about a slot I know to be a villager, I wanted to see if he would slip up and accidentally admit to knowing Leafia had died, and I wanted to see how he would react when he had seemingly believed for an extended period of time that the player who died last night was still alive. Correcting it would not have been as productive.

Either way, leafia dying means the only real candidate for “evil that voted on their teammate not expecting teammate to die” is uh, dead. Everyone else voted that gamer at EOD as far as I’m aware?
So it’s a lot harder to assume that wolves decided to pile on a vote that kills their teammate in a tie vote as opposed to either A) doing literally nothing and letting chomps die for free or B) voting chomps directly

I’ll say that while I’m glad we flipped a wolf, I’m still sad about Yurkin dying since it was nice to see a familiar face. As for Leafia dying honestly I’m somewhat surprised, Leafia was basically confirmed as good but Leafia is not the most consistent with reading me and on top of that Leafia claimed to have a relatively loud ability which would then lead to wolves being able to gain a bonus secret vote, then disposing of Leafia afterwards.
