I would obviously prefer you not gladiate me, but it is not as if I can convince you easily. Restricting the execution is anti-town, and proving your role does not prove your alignment. From any point of view, gladiating me is a bad idea, and from my point of view, doubly so, as I do not actively find you wolfy.

Also, refusing to use your gladiate on a PoE slot as scum is not a dumb move — if you successfully do it and convince others you must be town, then you get to kill a player who you otherwise would struggle to get executed. It is not a secret that it would be more beneficial to wolves to have me executed than a villager Chomps.

If Gladiators were never seen on wolves, and thus claiming Gladiator was always a sign of being town, their role text would essentially just read “get the person of your choice executed tomorrow”. I have seen game designers implement wolf Gladiators to punish this instinct.

Why is Sultan the leading wagon? Yurkin impeached Leafia to elucidate a scumread on him and allowed Sultan to convince them of a scumread on Lol, sorta just following the latter’s logic in the sort of way how evils don’t typically interact.
Personally seeing Ishmael and Chomps both voting Sultan wouldn’t make me want to touch it with a long stick, but at the very least there are surely better candidates. Why is Sultan suspicious to anybody?
