Ash’s Commentary on Round 3

1st Place

Conversation with Arctic in his channel that basically encapsulates all my thoughts:

We were definitely more aggressive this round, but I think neither Marluna nor I made the jump from LITERACY to books. As such, we thought this was a harder trio than it actually was.

That’s a way cooler first thought than anything I was considering.

2nd Place

FULL was carrying zero weight in that initial rand. Will keep that in mind going forward.
Other than that, good performance from all three players.

3rd Place

Count on Lilith to immediately submit (NSFW) JOHNNY SINS and, when that was inevitably vetoed, to submit REDACTED out of spite.

Anyways, THERMAL PASTE was a great guess that was never going to be a match, we got our first Sadism, and I had to Google the difference between “welding” and “soldering” (welding literally melts and merges them while soldering melts a different metal and uses that to hold the two pieces together).

4th Place

I’d make a Last Stand joke with CONSIGLIERE, but it’s almost midnight for me, and I am lazy and behind on this.
Other interesting things is that I had to veto the first guess for all three players on Round 9 because two of them were too close to STEAL and the third was May getting dangerously close to Everything Bagel-ing this site.

5th Place (Eliminated)

We went from casual stuff to pretty gnarly “Legal Ways to Die” to “I Want Dinner”.
Very funny progression, though I’m slightly sad that they didn’t end up matching.
