Also, you can like, just lock a roleblocker on his ass and he’s rendered fucked
But this isnt about specific setups
this is about the worst role, not the setup
and templar is worse of a role than NES on a mech level easily, and even on a social level
You can build a setup around Templar.
You cannot build one around NES.
Yes but like
you actually have to find his ass and there is no guaranteed Roleblocker in the setup, it can be rolled, but even then
also it ignores jailer’s and visit prevention
You could also throw in a lot of Templar Sensors in the setup which make it stupid easy to either deactivate them, or to even just find them.
Like, it’s not that hard to make a Templar Healer that hard counters the templar, and also makes them immune to Templar-specific kills
Poor bastard lmao
You can’t really counter an Immobile rock that plainly says it cannot die under any circumferences.
I mean on that note you can also have “NES killing Vigilante”
imagine building a setup where NES receives Dreaming God abilities
Like the issue again i want to point to, because he can be invested
he benefits from dying, he can suicide bomb, and then empower the wolf team
like, he has some counterplay towards getting outted
Thats what dreaming god is though essentially
That is a helluva lot better than not being able to effectively vote or say anything
This all sounds like attributes of a good role in a power heavy setup.
this is the worst possible design choice lmao
you don’t counter balance powerful roles by adding in more powerful roles you make the powerful roles less powerful
Looks like someone hasn’t read JTW’s Guide to Good townplay Game design.
I don’t even know what that is
suffice to say I don’t think they know what they are talking about
