no
if everyone’s powerful nobody is
: )
until those powerful roles die
thats why you make everyone powerful
Discussions like the above are why I didn’t define worst
I have no clue what worst even means in this context
In any case, Templar has all the makings of a solo serial killer in a 50+p mash, to put that into perspective
(Minus a vest or two but w/e)
It is the only role here that is bad by being hilariously overpowered
I didn’t nominate any especially bad roles intentionally
But if I could I would have nominated Doppelgänger from Hand of Byzantium for being game breakingly strong
doppel would probably not be that insane in a larger setup tbf
or im forgetting quite how strong it was (i only remember it being basically a godfather SK that commonly had 2KPN)
It also had an execution swap on a 1-shot…alongside its other effects
I consider it broken because it was in a 16p mainly
it could also choose the lynch once
and the double kill was strongman
oh
yeah thats getting dumber then
definitely still “less dumb in a bigger setup” but ya thats kinda absurd in a 16p fair enough carry on
tfw you want to design a large game with powerful roles but only have 16p to work with
There was also no prince in the setup it was in
The prince was a cop which couldn’t do anything to stop doppelgänger
Plus it ignored the incredibly bullshit effects of most of the town
So it was unfair for similar reasons to Templar while also being uncounterable in the setup it was in for the most part
for the most part
Actuary:
I think if I remembered it existed I might’ve nommed it
but also I wanted to nominate Frostweaver lmao
society if i rand frostweaver instead of arbiter in sfol 61.5
do people actually consider the Joker role bad or is it just “hehe boats go brr”
Boats meme mainly
It is written that boats are guaranteed to sink if they are made of titanium or have Jokers on them.
That’s why it’s illegal to have a full 54 deck of cards on a boat
