Yes I would’ve done everyhting I’ve done now as wolf. People, especially people like you and tutuu, townread this inconsistency, it is hte number one strategy I employ to be seen as villagery on FoL, just be super genuine and inconsistent and make no sense.
I know it works. Other people don’t employ this strategy because they think it won’t work and they’ll just get L1 wolfread, or htey have an idea of what being villagery is that they want to conform to, or whatever. I know it works and if it doesn’t work I know I have a really convincing wall-of-text villager impression I can back into immediately and save myself.

I mean I think I’m getting substantially more in-depth about “don’t townread me” than I would as wolf. I’d do a weak protest but not this in-depth. So there’s that. Like I don’t think the townread you have off of “May explains why your towntells are Bad (which is itself a towntell)” is any stronger than the one you’d have off of “May is being spontaneous and contradictory and such” so it wouldn’t be particularly worth to do it as wolf

here I had a plan of “oh, I should make a strong townread on May for something that is ~reasonable but a tell May knows and would object to if town, and then use this exact htbhtbthbhbthtbh as a way to reveal it while proving it was planned from the start”
then you’ve now objected to a weak townread (which is probably +EV for you to have done as wolf) and simultaneously made it so your hand is ~forced in objecting to future bad townreads
