Wrogn 2 - MAFIA VICTORY

See Ishmael’s ISO here (wolf)

She knows what people want of her in order to townread her. Like she knows what the expectation of a mafia player are

And do you have an example of village game to contrast

As town:

She posted under post requirement in Kakegurui D1 before trying to vig a wolf and dying N1. We didnt get a chance to see her play but she was unbothered with explaining herself or anything. I townread her for it and I got questions from other players for doing do

Her whole ISO:

Other than that, she was mischopped in this game:

I don’t know what happened in this game, and I’m not blaming her without having read it. I just know that she wasn’t received well. She is received worse as town than when she is mafia

Update: I just skimmed her ISO there and she did put higher effort. So maybe I am wrong on the effort part. I think, still, she gets a worse reception as town than as mafia. I have no reason to think otherwise at the moment

Like I think you have to remember that people are very susceptible to small influences changing their behaviour wildly. And I don’t think “this person knows how to play townsounding as wolf, but they haven’t done so yet in the first half of the first day” is compelling townread shit

Side note: this was peak comedy because Chomps literally just sent her message back the same way he got it, and that was enough to kill her.

I think Ishmael’s behaviour is reflective not of a villager or of a wolf but of somebody who hasn’t yet been pressured to try and I think that’s ~NAI but slightly wolfy because wolves only need to try if they or their partners are being threatened. Whereas villagers need to try ~always

I hate reads like that, it feels like some variation of the “perfect crime” fallacy where the mere thought of someone being wolf means they must be town because they’re too good as wolves to be wolfread.

“Worse reception as town than as mafia” is imprecise and IMO is the kind of thing you need to justify with a cause. Why does she have a worse reception as town than as mafia? Is she lower effort (we’ve discussed this, no), does she give less confident or more unconventional reads, is she more combative, is it the effect of mafia not pushing her as an easy misexecution, etc.

Like what “reception” somebody gets is influenced very heavily by the other players in the game so you can’t really cite it as alignment-indicative unless you can point to what causes that reception I think it’s kind of bunk

I think that she cares less about surviving when she’s town.

Okay cool. And you think she hasn’t cared about surviving enough here to be a wolf?

Yeah. I think she hasn’t.

The sarcasm here and lack of trying to save herself later is not someone trying to survive, I think. That post there is something you write expecting to get chopped and flip town. That’s the comedic value of it.

Cool. I slightly believe you, which is more than before. But not enough to stop voting Ishmael unless you give me a good target. Or SDA gives me any target (as previously mentioned, he controls my vote)

Every time you post a screenshot it gives me a heart attack because I’m used to the integrity nightmares on Loop

I haven’t read the posts since I played initially.

Just from scratching my memory, soweli, to me, has been the most inoffensive. Being inoffensive (not literally) is what I think fits the profiles of wolves a lot.

(I will read and think)

What do you mean if not literally inoffensive btw because I think it’s very possible it’s just a playstyle thing

Fact check: False btw

I mean I think I kind of default to you being town because I don’t suspect good players d1 just in general ; I mean I’d probably say your self-meta makes you town but hate myself for it if forced to make an actual read

I’m surprised both by tutuu posting walls and also wolfreading me

Literally would mean lack of insulting other people. Nobody has been insulting people. I meant “not rocking the boat / standing out / entering conflict”
