Zone's Testament - Mafia Victory

That being the only post that Icet commented on from her princess, while at the same time not coming to conclusions based on what exactly is going on.
Her princess thanks you, for having talked her into a Joycat + Icet world

Joycat(Icet, Strike) → Otterpod → TuTuu

Rhea Abbi Kii always pure.

@PrincessAbigail Zenons

VOTE: JoyCat

They came to the conclusion that Abbi was town the post above, so they are making some reads.
They just didn’t come a conclusion about you… which makes sense; that’s why they questioned you further.

Also, even after you voted Icet you kept them in your towns. Why?

TuTuu
Notably, her princess thinks that this person has equity to be a Traitor. Not only are they less seemingly relaxed than there town game, they’ve made 3 posts this game, none of which she likes.

She never said she hated them! This post is non allginemnt indicative, and notably she expects to see more of him later.

However, there other 2 posts are just weird, no? They only focus on the fact that Rhea found Joycat as town. Therefor, spite clearly having read Rhea’s post they only ask this? In addition to that.

They just said this, correcting themselves. After being done reading, they still don’t comment on what’s going on with the thread. Her Royal Majesty might claim this is a scared scum, or somebody who is scared as scum.

Her Princess believes that, eventually he will scum tell if good. Tha’ts mostly her logic.

…is this a typo or strange meta

I think these posts from otterpopd are wolfy. I do not think they are particularly wolf-indicative. They have a kind of implicit acknowledgement of the fact that there is not much information this early in the game, and from newer players, or those in unfamiliar environments, as otterpopd has implied herself to be, that tends to be towny. Uncomfortable wolves tend to go overboard in faking reads, finding information where there is none, and inexperienced townies tend to do the opposite, being less willing to put up a show of confidence in their reads early on.

The former!

mmmmmmm
don’t you think new town would at least still have a solving mindset though? I guess the first post could just be otter viewing the game as devoid of info, but the third doesn’t fit that

What do you mean, right? How do you know you are right? I tend to find “TMI” a cheap tell, but this feels like it carries an implicit assumption that I am town.

Notably, I did not, because I did not wolfread you until you made a townread on me that I found awkward.

I do not understand the point you are making here. Why would a wolf assume they would be townread? They are fully aware that they may have subconscious tells.

I can assure you I am not, and that I have been taking into account context when making my reads to the extent possible this early in the game, and it feels like you have suddenly shifted into a defensive mode upon being wolfread that is… I would like to call it fully wolf indicative, but I am not sure I can do that in good faith. It is frustrating, is what it is.

joycat seems fine atm, slot is usually easier to solve a bit into the game based on what I saw in their previous game, Stratagem FM in which they were more towny on D2 than D1.

I feel like trying to overanalyze the first 40 posts in a game, when it’s largely you arguing with yourself, is coming from even less of a solving mindset than “Yeah, fluff is fine it’s d1”

I was self-concious. I could break down this post for you and what I was feeling while writing it, if you want.

answering your question

Explaining myself. See above.

It’s NAI, i just felt the need to comment on it

I didn’t want to dwell on the fact that I said something weird and turn it into a whole thing like “okay, so like, is noise wolfy or what? is it affecting your read? it’s not? why are you commenting on it then if it doesn’t matter?” etc etc etc. So yes, self concious and anxious. Sorry if that’s wolfy, but I also think that wolves wouldn’t on d1 go like “i am only contributing to thread because i feel like i need to, i don’t actually have anything to contribute” but obviously I’m biased because I know my rolecard

fwiw I (joy / :coffee:) am @Zugzwang

I think new town would still have a solving mindset, but they struggle to as quickly find things to solve off of. By virtue of being inexperienced, they do not have the same corpus of knowledge of “what wolves tend to do” that comes with experience, and so they can often struggle to break into the early game.

Of course, this isn’t perfectly reliable: many first-time wolves will take into account the lower expectations on them and slide by doing nothing, which is why I don’t strongly townread otterpopd, not to the extent that I do you or Abigail.

Which kind of wolf new players end up being often depends strongly on their personality, the advice of their teammates, and the state of the game, all of which I do not have much experience with in this case. It will take time for me to properly read otterpopd. I just don’t find your case convincing for the moment.

yes, because the thing wolves do in RVS is sheep.
I’m just a big believer in voting early and often. “kill” here wasn’t really meant to be taken literally? it wasn’t even post 100 yet. come on

ftr I’m not a new townie, but I am new to forum games. I’ve been playing for two years on discord. It’s just that again those posts were like max 100 into a thread where there was also a hydra arguing with itself. there was no information yet

Because her princess knows you are town. That simple. You are townie.

Okay then, don’t accuse her with evidence that lacks context.

Because they’re the only one doing active things? I absolutetly assume it every wolf game, because I am townie every wolf game. Simple as that.

You are clearly not. And yes, her princess is defending herself. Would you like for her to ignore everything you’ve posted?
