fwiw I think this is an overstatement and not consistent with other patterns of technology replacing jobs – it’s true that new jobs (frequently though not always more new jobs) have often been created in the wake of human jobs being automated, but they frequently used very distinct skillsets – e.g. the skills of a lamplighter are quite different than the skills of an electrician

discussing religion at all may lead to people with opposing views feeling like they want to discuss and talk through why they believe which, which is typically unproductive, potentially uncomfortable for bystanders, and could lead to indepth arguments that arent fun for either side

I’m not personally religious* but if you model me as having a special interest in Catholicism you’ll mostly make good predictions

* I guess like technically I celebrate Jewish holidays sometimes (my mom is Jewish). I’m not religious in the sense I take you as having meant, I don’t believe in the factual claims made by religions, just, you can Not Believe In The Factual Claims Made By Religions and still go eat latkes with your family. Latkes are delicious.
