every day the number of people who understand credit cards decreases as boomers die and zoomers max out their klarna balance and decide to get a credit card instead. i dont think this is remotely offset by people ages 18-100 suddenly realizing how credit cards work

I actually think it’s the opposite and that kids these days know credit cards much better than old people.
A bunch of my family thought that credit cards were free money for the longest time in a way that my generation of the family doesn’t.

i think we are around different kids these days. although I also know a lot of people in my family who dont understand credit cards.

my mom and I are blessed to have my grandfather on her side, who despite his flaws, has some of the best financial acumen and would NEVER let any of his kids and any of their kids not know how a credit card works
