That is a reasonable assumption. Unfortunately I am an unreasonable human who needs to have the details of the rules written correctly for my paranoia to not trigger. For instance, you mentioned how some tables go with one bonus hit after 17; that’s not a normal rule, but it is normal in some tables. Who’s to say the dealer in this table can’t stop under 17 and (somehow) screw over players with a 16 (e.g., if the players stand on 12)?
