i think arete could be mafia but again if that were the case i would have expected for you to die by now rather than the player who thought all three of us were villagers and aro probably died for a reason since you were more townread than him overall, i think

my “re-evaluation read” is that may is probably a wolf because i think they were playing with an agenda yesterday. they spend most of the day doing nothing of value and turn up just before eod (where they are still a wagon) to start doing stuff. i think their vote on me was opportunistic because when the wagons are v/v, wolves very often want to kill the non-poe’d villager because people will still want to resolve the original target (eliza) the next day, but not necessarily vice-versa

the reasoning they gave for voting me was bad because they described my flip as being informative despite me being one of the least talked about players in the game and eliza being one of the most talked about. and other than that they gave no indication of actually thinking i was a wolf, so their only reason being for information just seems like bullshit to justify a vote on the spicy wagon

i think lemon’s vote on me was not made with an agenda because it tracked with what they were saying about their playstyle of finding villagers and then poe’ing the others. they iso’ed eliza, and decided she was nulltown and therefore voted the counterwagon while not having a read on me

(they also proposed a CFD with v/v wagons which is a not great idea for a wolf to do for obvious reasons)

like, one problem I have with this is how sure you were that Zorvo was a wolf that you’d try to trip them up from just their awkward joke entering the thread, thinking Zorvo could be w/w with Magnus, and the TMI-ing you as town

the awkward joking entrance is fair, thinking Zorvo and Magnus could be w/w is a bit reachy but it’s still ok, the TMI reason I understand why you might have thought so but all these added up do not really justify the level of confidence in the wolf read (to the point that you would be looking for Zorvo to trip up as a wolf over still trying to gauge Zorvo’s alignment after being pinged by scummy behavior)

one reason I can see for the high confidence is that you were bolstering confidence on a read to see if it would lead anywhere - an RT of sorts
but that doesn’t really make sense either considering:

  • you switched to townreading Zorvo pretty soon after
  • the phrasing of the question seems like it’s more of an unconscious thing rather than intentionally making your scumread to be more than it is
  • the way you treated May was very different

I’m not really looking for an explanation from you b/c I’m just analyzing for the sake of it but if you want to chime in or correct anything you think I’ve misunderstood, feel free

I find read lists really helpful b/c it helps me get an idea of someone’s view of the game
usually, if they have similar reads as mine or if I can see where they’re coming from for some reads even if they’re difference from my reads, it makes me feel better about the slot

in contrast, if their reads list looks wacky, I can’t see where they’re coming from, and the progression of their reads have been pretty stale, it’s a sign that the slot could be a wolf

you can’t really say anything about what conclusions I make but I do take into account other things like when the reads were made (it’s not too bad for early game)
also, just a note that I’m not commenting on if your reads are good or bad objectively (at least for the unflipped people) b/c idk either, I’m just comparing it to my own reads and view of the game (which is still fairly incomplete atm)

First, based on your experience with Molly would you say they are in their town meta?
Second, what’s your thoughts on Arete/Arctic do you agree with me that they can never be T/T?
