You are never obliged to claim your actual role. You are expected to maintain consistency in how you play around with that character though, if you’re not intending to straight up lie and fabricate details.

mine wouldnt but I have talked to ppl who also wouldnt, and again I intentionally picked a role with a lot of abilities cuz that is cool

The reason ability texts are short and simple is due to BOTC’s design philosophy, which I did expect to be maintained here in a lizards game because my own ability does that.
