In that mash, Someone cast votes on two of their teammates (as attested to by May) in a perfunctory manner, because it’s what they believed they would do as a villager. Which probably isn’t entirely correct, people who buss in such a manner typically have more accurate reads when they’re evil than when they’re good due to TMI, but in any case I have demonstrated an unwilling to attack my teammates even when I’m choosing to do so. AMQ is an example of targeted bussing, where I effectively ignored both my teammates for most of the game and only stuck in a dagger when I actively needed to; and the Unkindness game, which unravelled as you know.
My point is that your viewpoint that I would engage in such a manner with Someone without so much as requesting permission ahead of time, as I did in both those previous games. I could see myself trying to defend Amelia as I did defend Tutuu in a similar manner during the Serpent game, but there I completely stumbled so I either would’ve wanted to prepare better fakeclaims and a more secure strategy ahead of time, or I would’ve just messed around as I always did. Either way, this interaction does not work. Get a better world to push because it doesn’t really work for anyone.

I talked about this with May, actually. It’s mechanically interesting and it works with the Minion!Shabaloth theory (we went into detail during the whisper that isn’t really pertinent here), but I don’t really like the hook.
