The only villager on the block who defended themselves was CRichard, the claimed spent artist in a possible Vortox game.

what

i mean at this point not to sound egotistical but i think then it can be chalked up to “there was limited social evidence because the evil team was playing better than the good team was”

You and Jarek were talked about in the same breath and you never really tried refuting them after your death. Even before your death, I can’t recall any notable defence you made.

CRichard actually being Sage explains why he wanted to live so badly.

my attack on marluna was dismissed as “wifom” and that was supposed to be my defense so like

defending myself would’ve done [absolutely nothing]

That’s the same logic Marluna used for lurking D4. That’s not an excuse.

If you’re a good player on the block, prove you’re a good player by speaking up about how you’re good and where everyone else stands as a result. If you know you’re good, that means the Pit Hag is still alive. You were the only good player who would’ve known that for a fact, that two evils were alive, but you didn’t even mention it. I don’t want to say you “gave up”, but…

literally no it doesn’t

…Yeah, it did? When could the Pit Hag have died? Unless you wanted to tinfoil Squirrel or somebody as Pit Hag, nobody else died between me claiming Pit Hagged and your death, and nobody claimed Pit Hagged after then (because YBW self-targeted).

i might be stupid

Point is, there wasn’t room for a Pit Hag to have died if you were good. But nobody thought you were good, and you kinda let everyone think that. Yes, I thought that.

also my worldview literally included both ybw and marluna as evil so

So why not discuss that worldview in depth with everyone during the day? If you looked at Mist’s Juggler 2, you might’ve realised something wasn’t right.

literally everyone dismissed it as wifom regardless

Yeah, because you were extremely socially scummy. But giving up doesn’t help Town in any way, regardless of everyone’s perception of your slot.

Like D1-D3, when Atlas thought I was evil, I still made an effort to work with them.

In spite of the fact that I thought Atlas was evil until Jarek’s suicide ploy.

Imagine if YBW got the evil Atheist idea from Atlas’s entrance this game.

That’s pretty much it. Don’t just give up when you’re suspected, constantly remind everyone you’re good and try to get your thoughts across. If you’re repeatedly shut down after that, it’s their fault, not yours.

What would’ve happened if YBW turned Jarek or Mist into the Heretic (role)?
