Choosing to join a cult is a vote the same way an execution or exile is. As such it’s being treated the same way. There’s probably a better way to do it but to avoid confusion and ST headaches it’s just easier to do it this particular way.

The Cult leader would win assuming they’re sober and healthy, yes. The good players that chose to join might not depending on the cult leaders allignment.

Forcing through the cult because everyone flippantly said they’d join without giving them any chance to discuss it wouldn’t be very fair or fun for anyone I feel.

They’re locked, going clockwise starting from the person that was nominated, if magnus is adhering to normal BOTC rules, you’ll have to double check with magnus here though.
