Chapter I - The Jutting Watchtower - Red Burns (Night 3 - 17 Remain - Thread 1)

There is a runaway trolley barreling down the railway tracks. Ahead, on the tracks, there are five wolves tied up and unable to move. The trolley is headed straight for them. You are standing some distance off in the train yard, next to a lever. If you pull this lever, the trolley will switch to a different set of tracks. However, you notice that Luna is on the side track. You have two (and only two) options:

  1. Do nothing, in which case the trolley will kill the five wolves on the main track.
  2. Pull the lever, diverting the trolley onto the side track where it will kill Luna.

Which is the more ethical option? Or, more simply: What is the right thing to do?

yesterday i presented a riddle to someone. the riddle was as follows:
you are in a room with matpat and a loaded gun. who do you shoot

I respectfully disagree, and don’t know why you see the need to snark at me every single time I do this.

hey hey woah there now youre warping the idea behind the question

But is it really a question?

It’s not even a question I’d rather die to confirm them as town than keep living in this limbo

were you though?

And if they die and they’re evil then win win

Was i ever?

I feel like 10 times out of 10 we end up with a dead Jarek and then Luna just gets shanked at night
